Anyone know this movie?

well a long time ago a saw this movie and now I have this scene in my head and I can't remember anything else. I was hoping someone could tell me the name of this movie, I saw it a long time ago. This is the scene, I remember a girl dancing with a man or a creature I think it was red and had some weird mask on him or maybe it was just his face. They kept spinning round and round, I think he was wearing black leather gloves and a long black cape with pointy sides, there was a table and I think they were dancing by the fireplace and I know it wasn't phantom of the opera. I think she was dancing with the devil or something and don't know ut does anyone have any clue what this movie is or a guess?
