Why does gl feel cold?

Gl will only feel cold for a short period of time. Gl is dense and and extremely smooth therefore your skin comes into contact with a great number of particles. Each particle seeks equilibrium which will happen very quickly but because of the poor heat conduction properties of gl it will not draw out more heat than equilibrium.
