I'm a bit confused after an internal exam, help shed some light ?

Engaged does mean the baby's head is low in the pelvis; atleast that's what my doctor and the midwives at her office told me. What the hell? Why are they making you wait so long? They need to knock it off and not let you go so far past your due date. I was worried about going past mine and something bad happening, but now I'm getting induced at 39 weeks because of high bloospressure. I don't know what their problem is; I mean, I've heard of some doctors making you wait until you are 42 weeks, but they already have your induction date scheduled you know. I'd demand to have something sooner! Force them to induce you earlier if that's what you want--you're already overdue. Good luck!
