Why didn't America listen to Ron Paul (R), Dennis Kucinich(D) or the dang Comptroller General, David Walker?

I wouldn't listen to Ron Paul either, and I wouldn't insult Dennis Kucinich by mentioning his name in the same sentence. Conservatism is what's been wrong with our economy since 1981, so why should I listen to a con tell me how to "fix" it?
