Can someone please give me some advice or tell me what you think!?

Sorry its a bit long. My family started a big automotive shop 3 years ago. We work on both cars and heavy duty trucks and do EVERYTHING but tires. Well from the time he started trying to get the loan many of the other repair shops that have been here for 30 years have been makign it real hard. Many of the "good old boys" are friends with bank owners and commercial customers all around the county. so after a long tiresome task of getting a loan we planed on having 50k as start up capitol well the person that we paid to develop the land did the job wrong and than ditched his equipment and left town, so we had to use most of the start up capitol and i had to quit my job to help do it ourselfs. We had a lot of customers at first, we had big corporation, all the citys work, firetrucks, ambulances you name it. Well as time went on they just stoped comming and going back to our competitors who are 15 to 20 dollars more than us. Well than we had to fire some employees and they started to spread rumors and our competitors started spreading rumors and it has gotten worse. I and my family have put every penny we have into this place and we are honest and do good work at a great price but i feel like we lost the game and they won. And the economy isnt helping at all. I hate to go under i feel like we lost. But i know many people may start and lost 3 or 4 businesses in a life time but idont know. Any words of encuragement or advice???

My dog hit his head on the corner of our stone fire place. He ran into a wall while turning, but i think that might be because the hallway was very narrow. He bumps his head a bit (before he bumped his head on the fireplace). Zebra finch eggs and parents issue?

i have four zebra finch (two males and two females)..i have two nest box in the cage (one at the right of the cage and one at the left)...the birds have been laying eggs in each nest box....one pair per box...the box to the left had 4 eggs and the nest to the right hand 6 eggs...after about 10 days into incubation the birds in the left of the cage stopped sitting on their eggs...so i placed those fertilized eggs into the nest to the right...when i did that we move the cage b/c my parents wanted to rearange the the house....now the birds on the right stopped sitting on the eggs and now the birds from the left is sitting in the nest on the right and incubating all 10eggs....and the other two from the right are sitting in the left nest....will this be too much trouble for he parents to handle all that babies....they are sup. to hatch either tomorrow or the next day...it will be 16 days tm....

I don't know about free books, but have you tried just going to Google and typing in "crochet" and "knit"? I did that once when I was trying to figure out how to use a certain type of fancy foot on my new sewing machine for making a hem. It turned out there was a little video on YouTube that showed exactly how to use the foot on the machine, how to fold the material, how to push the material through the machine, and how the stitch should look when you are done. It made a lovely blind hem that doesn't show on the outside if you do it right. My machine and I weren't as good at it as the lady in the video, but without her instruction I couldn't have done it at all. The two-sentence instruction in the book that came with the machine made no sense to me and the illustration in the book didn't help enough. But the video was very clear. I'll bet you could find something on Google. It might not be a video, but there's bound to be something.

Help! sprained ankle!!?

I sprained my ankle in the middle of August and now it is in the beginning of June. It was a really bad sprain that was visibly there for about 2 weeks ( really widespread deep purple and yellow bruising) and i dont think that it healed properly because my ankle is still slightly swollen, and when i move a certain way it still hurts. what do you think is the cause and what should i do about it? im in an activity where i have to run for a warm up, do you suggest not running laps because of it?

its normal for babies to be congested so the doc will probably still tell you it will p. its cause by allergies due to dust and even formula and so many other things. what has alwasy helped my kids alot is a humidifier, you can buy one at any pharmacy or walmart, target ect.. just keep it on at all times in the baby's room and it should make a difference.

Mothers of reflux babies?

My son is 7months old, and has had severe reflux since birth. He has tried Gaviscon, RInitadine, and now Losec (taken with Gaviscon) as the Losec alone didn't work. I have also tried rice cereal in his formula, cranial manipulation, chiropractors and soy formula for two months, all with no success. I still have constant projectile vomiting. A friend has recommended I try goats milk formula, but frankly I feel I have done all I can, and I'm sick of trying new treatments only to be disappointed. Has anyone tried it with success? Has anyone lived through this and overcome it? My doctor will refer me to a pediatrician on Tuesday if things are no better, but I feel she's left things to go on for far too long, and I was only told yesterday that I would qualify for a child disability allowance for him (which won't be backdated). I am fed up and angry, and just so sick of the whole situation. My doctor told me she was waiting for him to grow out of it, but she now suspects he may have a hernia in his oesophagus as he's still no better. Any stories from parents who've lived through severe reflux like this would be appreciated.

My Nike Air Maxes randomly inflated?

Today, I was at the Indy 500 wearing my 2009 white Nike air maxes. I stopped for about 10 seconds and then started walking again and noticed that my heel felt like I had stepped in gum. When I looked, there was no gum and the heel of my shoe was actually inflated. There is literally a circular bump that sticks out of the bottom of my shoe. It's uncomfortable and it only happened on my left shoe. The right is still fine. I didn't abuse my shoes at all or anything of the sort and this is my first pair of Air Maxes ever. I know that heat expands air, but it wasn't that hot and as I said, the right shoe is fine. There also aren't any noticeable holes in the shoe. What do I do? Is there a way to pop it? I don't want to have the sound every time I step of air inflating and deflating. Can I return them? I bought them at Christmas time from finish line on the clearance rack, but I don't have a receipt. About a year ago, give or take, there was a leak in my bathroom wall coming from upstairs. The water had gotten caught between the sheet rock and the paint. Well, my daughter and I have been getting sick lately back to back...coughing, sneezing, colds, sinus infections, ear infections, eye infections, bronchitis. I thought it was because she goes to daycare and is getting sick from the other kids and bringing home the germs to me. My apartment is a small studio and it is just my daughter and I so I leave my bathroom door open all the time and we sleep right next to it. Today I closed it for a couple of hours and when I went to open it was hit with the funk of mildew. I hadn't smelled it before and I'm uming that's because the door is always open so it probably airs out into the rest of the apartment. I feel horrible now because I feel it's my fault why my daughter has been having all these problems. I called my management company and they are coming first thing in the morning to look at it. I don't know what exactly they are going to do but unless they are going to rip out the whole wall and repair it, I don't want to live here anymore.
